Earlier today I was disappointed that I hadn't been online earlier in the day. This relates to the Pay It Forward game that's moving through a lot of the art & craft blogs. The rules for this game started out as offering a handmade gift to the first three people who left comments. I was like, fifth or sixth on Jude's blog. Turns out that doesn't matter because she changed the rules to making something for everyone who left a comment. That put me back in the game! And thus obliged to perpetuate the game here on my own blog. It also inspired me to change the title since this is seed dispersal time of year and art/craft sharing does tend to promote fresh new growth for the recipients as well as the giver. Also sowing/sewing - get it? Huh? Huh?
If you'd like me to make you a little something or other, just leave a comment here. I know I did something really similar for my recent second blog anniversary but this time everybody gets a chance there is no luck or randomness about it. And I will keep the original part of the rule that says sometime in the next year.
The pictures in the post were taken here and there during this morning's activities. At one point I was walking across a large field and encountered another human walking in the opposite direction. He was a tall and deceptively sweet looking guy - cursing up quite a storm to himself as he hauled ass through the tall weeds. He also had on a Sox cap and - no lie - a baseball gripped quite possessively in his hand. I almost laughed outright because, if I didn't have pained knowledge of him being somewhere else right now and precisely how much is riding on his gleamin' eyed cussin-to-beat-the-band shoulders, I think I might have imagined I crossed paths with Josh Beckett.
